The Personal Advisor team are excited to be collaborating with Ceryl Davies, a Researcher from Bangor University on a two-year project looking at the best ways to engage and work with young people who have experienced care. We are currently applying to Health and Social Research Wales for the funding.
There are two stages to the application process and already so many of you have already taken part in this initial part and we are grateful to everyone who gave their time and who gave such thoughtful insights during our conversations. This will go a long way to supporting the application, however, we won’t find out if we have been successful until next year but if we are the full project will start in October 2022.
This is our first small step to taking part in a crucial piece of research that will change the way professionals engage and work with care leavers in the future.
