Hello, and thanks for visiting the website!

This is a brand new site, and still in development – and hopefully that’s why you’re here. We really need your feedback and ideas to help to make sure that the site develops in the way you want it to.

The site will hopefully be useful to care leavers, so obviously it needs to contain lots of information that care leavers need to know about. 

That can cover a lot of bases, so one of the big challenges is to make things easy to find.
So the information needs to have some structure. We’ve started by categorising information in the same headings as the Pathway Plan, so this means you’d be able to find articles on Health, Finances, Accommodation, etc, etc.

So this is a fundamental thing we’d like some feedback on – is this a good way to structure the information? Is there a better way? Let us know what you think.

We’ve already had some feedback from young people and have started to build these ideas into the site, and we’d like to know what you think about these, and what else you think the site needs.

The first of these is a “Meet the team” section so that care leavers can find out a little bit about the personal advisors and their managers.

Next is a “Useful Links” section, which contains links to lots of other sources of support.

We’ve broken these down into different categories, and clicking on any of the options in the list will update the page to show just the links in that category.  Clicking on any of the links will take you straight to their site.

There’s a simple contact page on the site, where you can send a message that will come through to the team.

The Blog link in the main header takes you to a list of all posts – not categorised.

It is early days and we hope you can let us know what you think so that the site develops in a way that will make it more useful for care leavers, now and the coming years.
